CFX has integrated Wormhole’s Native Token Transfers (NTT) standard to bring MOVEUSD — a GENIUS-compliant stablecoin issued by the U.S.-licensed and registered fintech based in Chicago — natively to Solana, Base, and Ethereum. This multichain expansion brings MOVEUSD’s multi-bank, regulated settlement network onchain, preserving its compliance, 1:1 reserve backing, and institutional-grade treasury capabilities across diverse blockchain ecosystems.

Access to unified U.S. commercial banking has long been a challenge for token issuers and foundations, often requiring fragmented relationships with multiple banks. To address this, the Wormhole Foundation is partnering with CFX to offer crypto-enabled banking services—seamlessly connecting onchain treasuries with real-world payments across a compliant, multi-bank infrastructure.

What is CFX and the MoveUSD Network?

CFX is a U.S.-licensed fintech company based in Chicago that operates the MoveUSD network, a gateway to U.S. banking designed to facilitate digital dollar infrastructure and cross-border payment workflows. Through its crypto-enabled services portal, CFX enables non-U.S. corporates and foundations to access certain U.S. financial services through accounts maintained with FDIC-insured partner banks.

Developed by CFX, the network supports clients in moving funds across borders, managing compliance workflows, and maintaining access to tokenized U.S. dollar deposits. Available services include:

  • Access to U.S. bank accounts via structured beneficiary arrangements
  • Cash deposits at over 80,000 U.S. retail locations
  • ACH, Fedwire, and SWIFT transfer capabilities
  • Stablecoin minting and redemption
  • Support for USDT and USDC across supported chains
  • U.S. Treasury Bill-linked yield options (where permitted)

MOVEUSD is a U.S. dollar-referenced digital asset issued by CFX and designed to be fully backed 1:1 with permissible reserve assets in alignment with GENIUS Act standards. It offers programmable transferability, multichain interoperability, and integration with CFX’s broader financial and blockchain services.

MOVEUSD is currently available on Solana, Base, and Ethereum via Wormhole’s Native Token Transfers (NTT) standard, enabling native movement across supported chains without wrapped representations.

What is NTT?

Wormhole’s Native Token Transfers (NTT) is an open and composable standard for seamlessly transferring native tokens across blockchains while preserving their intrinsic properties. NTT is already powering natively multichain stablecoins for leading projects such as Sky, M0, Transfero, and Agora, demonstrating its industry-wide impact and reliability. With MOVEUSD, another leading project joins the ranks of NTT adopters.

Why NTT Matters for GENIUS-compliant Stablecoins Like MOVEUSD

For institutional-grade stablecoins like MOVEUSD, multichain infrastructure is critical for maintaining compliance, liquidity, and operational efficiency across diverse blockchain ecosystems. Wormhole's battle-tested decentralized infrastructure provides the reliability and security required for regulated financial products, having facilitated over $60 billion in cross-chain transfers and powering multichain strategies for institutions like BlackRock, VanEck, and Apollo.

NTT enables MOVEUSD to operate natively across Solana, Base, and Ethereum through a burn-and-mint mechanism, ensuring the CFX network maintains complete control over token contracts and regulatory compliance on every network. This approach eliminates wrapped tokens and liquidity fragmentation while preserving the institutional-grade oversight by FDIC member banks and licensed broker-dealers which underpin MOVEUSD's institutional credibility.

Take Your Token Multichain with NTT

NTT is already being used by some of crypto’s most systemically important assets, like Lido’s wstETH and Sky’s (formerly Maker) USDS, to unify users and liquidity.
