What is STBL?
STBL is a decentralized non custodial protocol introducing the next evolution of stablecoins. Instead of bundling stability yield and governance into a single token STBL cleanly separates them across three distinct tokens allowing for greater flexibility and utility:
- USST is a USD pegged stablecoin minted by locking tokenized RWAs as collateral. USST is designed to be liquid stable and freely usable for payments trading or as a reserve asset.
- YLD is a yield claim token. When USST is minted a corresponding YLD token is created. This token represents the right to claim the yield generated from the underlying collateralized RWAs.
- STBL enables protocol governance and participation in protocol mechanisms.
