Uniswap and Wormhole collaborate for Unichain interoperability

Wormhole, Uniswap Labs, and Uniswap Foundation are collaborating to bring a series of multichain assets from major ecosystems to Unichain, with HYPE and SOL going live today. HYPE, HyperEVM’s native token, and SOL, Solana's native token, lead Unichain's multichain asset expansion through Wormhole Portal. This move establishes the framework for bringing high-demand assets from major blockchain networks directly to Uniswap v4 pools.

Why HYPE and SOL

The first assets arriving on Unichain through this collaboration powered by Wormhole are HYPE and SOL, chosen for both their scale and ecosystem significance. HYPE, the native token of HyperEVM with a $12 billion market capitalization, showcases the process for onboarding additional assets from HyperEVM into Unichain. SOL, one of the most liquid tokens in DeFi at $111 billion in market capitalization, brings access to Solana’s liquidity to Unichain users. Together, these deployments set the foundation for Uniswap to bring additional high-demand assets from 40+ Wormhole-supported blockchains to Unichain.

Scaling Unichain’s asset growth

With Wormhole Portal, users can now transfer HYPE from HyperEVM and SOL from Solana directly into Unichain. Portal’s $54 billion in all-time volume across 1 million+ users demonstrates Portal’s track record for secure asset transfers. Getting started with HYPE and SOL on Unichain

Users can transfer HYPE and SOL to Unichain via Wormhole Portal. This collaboration includes the following HYPE and SOL incentives over the next two weeks:

• 2,872 UNI weekly for USDC/HYPE liquidity providers
• 3,351 UNI weekly for USDC/SOL liquidity providers

After bridging these assets to Unichain via Wormhole Portal, users can decide to participate in these v4 incentive programs or use HYPE and SOL across Unichain’s ecosystem.
