Securitize has expanded its Securitize Tokenized Apollo Diversified Credit Fund (ACRED) to the Sei network, with interoperability powered exclusively by Wormhole. This integration marks Sei's entry into the rapidly growing tokenized private credit market, which currently represents over $17 billion of total value locked in tokenized real-world assets.
As Securitize's official interoperability provider, Wormhole enables ACRED tokens to move seamlessly across blockchain ecosystems, enhancing liquidity and accessibility for institutional investors. This expansion to Sei leverages the network's industry-leading finality times and parallel processing capabilities to deliver institutional-grade performance for tokenized private credit.
Wormhole's secure messaging protocol ensures that ACRED holders can transfer tokens between Sei and other supported networks including Ethereum, Avalanche, Polygon, Solana, and Ink by Kraken. This multichain functionality is particularly valuable for institutional investors who require the flexibility to deploy capital across multiple blockchain environments without sacrificing security or compliance.
ACRED’s expansion to Sei showcases how Wormhole's infrastructure enables traditional financial institutions to access the full spectrum of blockchain ecosystems. ACRED, which provides tokenized access to Apollo's diversified global credit strategy, represents a significant advancement in bringing institutional-grade private credit onchain with 24/7/365 availability and near real-time settlement.
Sei's technical architecture, combined with Wormhole's proven interoperability solutions, creates new possibilities for tokenized fund functionality. Daily NAV pricing, automated compliance reporting, and native DeFi composability become accessible to qualified investors while maintaining the regulatory standards institutional investors expect.
This expansion builds upon Wormhole's established role as the interoperability provider for Securitize-issued tokenized funds, including BlackRock's BUIDL, VanEck's VBILL, and Hamilton Lane's SCOPE. Wormhole has facilitated over $65 billion in multichain volume, making it the leading protocol for secure institutional-grade token transfers between blockchains.
The arrival of institutional players like Apollo and Blackrock on blockchain networks signals the maturation of tokenized asset infrastructure. As private credit markets are projected to reach $2.8 trillion by 2028, Wormhole's multichain capabilities enable funds like ACRED to confidently operate across multiple ecosystems, unlocking broader opportunities for investors.
By connecting premier tokenized assets with high-performance networks through secure interoperability, Wormhole and Securitize are establishing the foundation for more accessible and efficient global capital markets. This collaboration demonstrates how blockchain infrastructure can unlock new pathways for institutional participation in private credit while maintaining the trust and regulatory compliance that institutional investors require.
The expansion of ACRED to Sei represents another milestone in bringing regulated, high-quality tokenized real-world assets to institutional audiences across the internet economy, powered by the infrastructure that enables truly borderless institutional finance.
