Get a pre-determined, limited-scope feature or tool built out.
Integrate your project with Wormhole in a novel way.
Go big or go home. Build a moonshot idea that acts as a flywheel for user adoption.
Push the boundaries of what’s possible for interoperability.
Multi-chain native-to-native token swap using existing DEXes. Using liquidity of native vs USDC (i.e. the USDC highway), one can swap from native A on chain A to native B on chain B.
Create a ledger plugin built to work with Portal Bridge for Ethereum smart contracts. A user, Jim, should be able to bridge assets through Portal Bridge and see the bridge transfer details on their ledger device.
Create a name service built upon Wormhole, similar to Token Attestation model. A user, Bob, should be able to pick a “Registration Chain” where they write an Identity Record. This IR can be attested to any other chains.
At Wormhole, we strongly believe that developing cross-chain is how builders can provide a better experience for users, and we are determined to help others achieve this goal. This is why we launched the xGrant Program — to aid talented developers and founders in increasing their cross-chain expertise and taking their projects to the next level.
Apply for an xGrant todayOur average grant size range is based on the complexity and necessary resourcing. Larger funding requests will require more evaluation and due diligence — hence the longer decision time.
Announcements about receiving an xGrant can only be made once the 1st milestone is accepted. Teams shouldn't seek to cover 100% of their funding via the Wormhole xGrant Program.
Acceptance into the xGrant program is up to the review and approval of the Wormhole Foundation.
