⭕ Circle’s CCTP is live!

• Back in March, we announced that Wormhole has partnered with Circle to provide a seamless cross-chain development experience. Read our Twitter thread or the full blog post.
• And on April 26th, the Wormhole x @circle Cross Chain Transfer Protocol contracts went live - check out the USDC bridge here: https://stable.portalbridge.com/usdc-bridge
• Watch @RobinsonBurkey, Growth Lead at Wormhole, explaining how Wormhole integrates @circle‘s CCTP (cross-chain transfer protocol) and the exciting possibilities this opens up for developers.

• Wombat Ecosystem | Powered By Wormhole: We are excited to announce that @WombatExchange and its ecosystem (including @WombexFinance, @magpiexyz_io, and @QuollFinance) is integrating Wormhole to enable cross-chain development and expand their reach beyond their native BNB Chain.
• Here we go - BONK is now an xAsset! While staying native to Solana, @bonk_inu is now also available on Aptos, Arbitrum, Polygon, BNB Chain and Ethereum.
• More xAssets are launching on @Algorand! @Algomint_io introduces their goBASKET V2, an easy-to-use DeFi product that utilizes Wormhole to enable BTC, WBTC, ETH, WETH, USDC, USDT, and DAI to be wrapped into goBTC, goETH, and goUSD. These 1:1 pegged "single destination tokens" can be used across the entire Algorand ecosystem, like @pact_fi, @algofiorg, @tinymanorg, @FolksFinance, and @AlgoRai_finance.
• A new xAsset just launched! On @gate_io, one of the leading CEXs, you can now deposit & withdraw the Polygon- and Ethereum-wrapped versions of @dust_labs's DUST.
• New xAssets are here! @YieldlyFinance & @Yesports_gg just joined forces to advance their ecosystems by broadening the availability of YLDY and YESP across multiple chains.
• Check out @PythNetwork 's thread about how they launched their low-latency pull oracles, which now power 100+ apps across 18 blockchains.
• @WombatExchange is now live on @arbitrum
• @Injective_'s month long Virtual Hackathon kicked off - and Wormhole is proud to be contributing a bounty for “best implementation of cross-chain functionality".
• April 10th was "Wormhole Day" at the Injective Hackathon, during which @nsuri_ held a hands-on cross-chain workshop!

🦄 Cross-Chain Deployment Proposals

• Exciting news! Wormhole has just been voted as the bridge provider for the @Uniswap V3 deployment on @gnosischain.
• The proposal to launch @Uniswap V3 on @MoonbeamNetwork, with Wormhole as the designated cross-chain provider, has been reinstated by @UMichBlockchain. Learn more about the proposal - and make your vote count if you're a UNI holder - here.
• Wormhole is excited to submit a proposal to the @ThresholdDAO to help bridge tBTC beyond Ethereum & significantly deepen tBTC liquidity across all chains.

👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 Community

• April 1st: Wormhole Announces Messaging Breakthrough: Wormhole goes interstellar. We're excited to announce that we are expanding cross-messaging beyond blockchains. We've successfully transmitted the first cross-planetary message via Einstein-Rosen-Buterin-bridge to TOI 700 e, and we promptly received an answer…
• The xIntern took some notes from our Twitter Space with @CetusProtocol & @PythNetwork
• We awarded the winners of the very first Wormhole Meme Contest
• We hosted an awesome Twitter Space, “The Wombat Ecosystem is going cross-chain”, with the entire Wombat ecoystem (@WombatExchange, @WombexFinance, @QuollFinance & @magpiexyz_io)
• Did you know that you can find our Twitter Spaces on YouTube? Here's the latest one: “The Wombat Ecosystem Is Going Cross-Chain”
• We hung out at @DeNYC2023? Did you?
• Our friends at Carrier who built an advanced bridge on top of Wormhole, launched their Coo NFT collection
• Wormhole participated in the very first edition of @Turbos_finance ’s “Turbos & Friends” Twitter Space

• A warm welcome to @danreecer_ , who will be helping lead the Wormhole Foundation! We’re tremendously excited to have a former Chief Growth Officer from the Polkadot ecosystem join our efforts in connecting all of Web3! We’re thrilled to have you on board, Dan!

• We enjoyed a fun brainstorming session with @anuragkashyap72 on how to bring peace to all chains…
• We launched a new weekly series titled “Feature Friday”, in which we aim to offer an easy-to-understand (though very detailed) explanation of different Wormhole features and functionalities. We kicked it off with “Feature Friday | Wormhole Guardians”
• And next up was "Feature Friday | Burn & Mint: An Innovative Solution for NFT Migration"
• Ethereum’s Shapella network upgrade happened on April 12th, during which the Wormhole protocol and the Portal bridge continued to work without any disruptions or interruptions.
